Halifax’s free weekly paper The Coast is ringing in the new year with new staff members, including two new editors. Tim Bosquet, The Coast’s “Sustainable City” columnist, is the paper’s new city news editor, a position previously held by Mike Fleury. “Scene and Heard” columnist Steph Johns is also returning to the position of listings editor, which was held by Mike Landry in 2007.

The paper will also be hiring a new web editor in 2008, after the departure of Dean Gallant in December of last year. For the moment, editor Kyle Shaw says The Coast has added a new web developer, Herb Theriault, and office technician, Neal Ozano, to the staff roster. The new online editor will come on board after technical changes have been made to the paper’s website.
